Is Life Truly Unfair, or Are We Seeing Only Part of the Picture?
I came across a discussion about why life seems unfair, and I want to share my perspective. I do not believe life is simply about punishment or favouritism. Some people are born into wealth, while others grow up with hardship. Some find love easily, while others face loneliness. From a spiritual perspective, these differences may reflect lessons, choices and consequences that go beyond what we can immediately see. Wealth can be a test, not just a reward. Poverty can teach resilience, not serve as punishment. Suffering can shape a person, while solitude can prepare someone for growth. Hard work also needs direction, because effort without purpose may not produce the desired result. God is not partial. What we repeatedly practise shapes who we become, and who we become affects what we attract and experience. Life may look unfair when we see only the present moment, but perhaps there is a bigger picture we do not fully understand.
