I have noticed that small acts of kindness can stay with men for a long time. Years ago, a woman paid my cab fare without being asked, and I felt deeply appreciated. On another occasion, a lady called me “fine boy” with a smile, and that simple compliment stayed on my mind all day. Those experiences made me think that many men easily grow attached when they feel valued, admired and cared for. A little kindness can make a man begin imagining a future with someone. However, I have also observed that uncertainty can make people overthink relationships. When someone is inconsistent, distant or emotionally unavailable, it may create tension that keeps the other person checking messages and seeking reassurance. Still, this is not a rule about all women or all men. Healthy relationships should be built on mutual care, honesty and emotional security rather than pain or rejection.
