The Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, has called on the Federal Government and the Nigerian Armed Forces to investigate the killing of an Army officer, Col. Abdussalam Ude. The Sultan, who is also President-General of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, said authorities must establish the circumstances surrounding the officer’s death and bring anyone responsible to justice.
