Yira Sor Nears Amedspor Move to Join Gift Orban in Turkey
Super Eagles winger Yira Collins Sor is reportedly close to joining Turkish Super Lig newcomers Amedspor from Belgian side KRC Genk. The two clubs are said to be in negotiations, although no agreement has been reached. Sor has one year left on his Genk contract and is unlikely to receive an extension, making a summer exit increasingly likely. If the transfer goes through, the 26-year-old will join fellow Nigerian forward Gift Orban at Amedspor. Sor joined Genk from Slavia Prague in January 2023 for €6.5 million but has struggled for regular impact after injury setbacks.
