Gift Orban scored a hat-trick as Amedspor defeated Istanbul Basaksehir 5-0, taking his Turkish league tally to six goals in five appearances. The Nigerian forward is now level with Victor Osimhen at the top of the scoring chart. Osimhen has scored six goals in four league matches for Galatasaray before suffering a hamstring injury. Orban scored all three goals in the second half, including a header from Furkan Soyalp’s cross and two finishes from Ermal Krasniqi’s passes. His form could strengthen calls for a return to the Super Eagles squad.
