Tinubu Leads Eid-el-Kabir Prayers at Dodan Barracks, Calls for Unity and Tolerance
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu joined Lagos State leaders and traditional rulers for Eid-el-Kabir prayers at Dodan Barracks in Lagos. He urged Nigerians to shun ethnic divisions, embrace generosity, and strengthen peaceful coexistence. Reflecting on the festival’s lessons of obedience and sacrifice, he called on citizens to support the less privileged and value the sanctity of human life. He stressed that no religious or political difference should outweigh the nation’s collective aspiration for peace and progress. In his sermon, the Grand Chief Imam of Lagos State highlighted the importance of fearing Allah, promoting unity, and showing compassion to all. He prayed for wisdom and continued guidance for the country’s leaders and people.
