I want to set the record straight after Dana White said I was “never, ever, ever” in consideration for the White House card. My team and I really negotiated with the UFC. I even lowered my asking price, but I was still lowballed. Yes, my hip arthritis is painful. But that doesn’t mean I can’t fight. I got stem cell treatment last week and was ready to start camp today. I get that deals fall through, but publicly spreading falsehoods isn’t right. I’ve given years of title defenses and big fights to the UFC. Hearing I’m “done” is disappointing. If they feel that way, release me from my contract. No more spins.
