The Holy Spirit Is God, Not a Lesser Being

The Holy Spirit is not merely an influence or an unseen power. He is God, equal with the Father and the Son. Scripture teaches that the Spirit of the Lord brings liberty and works in believers’ lives. (2 Corinthians 3:17; John 14:10) The Holy Spirit teaches, guides and strengthens you, revealing the Father’s will and glorifying Jesus. Recognising Him as God deepens your fellowship with Him and helps you yield to His leading. Prayer: Dear Holy Spirit, I recognise and honour You as God. Thank You for teaching and guiding me. I yield to Your leading and trust You to work through me for God’s glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Further reading: Acts 5:3–4; John 16:13–14; John 14:16–20.
