Eric Tinkler Leaves Asante Kotoko After Just Four League Matches

Former South Africa international Eric Tinkler has left his role as Asante Kotoko head coach after four Ghana Premier League matches. The club accepted his request to end his contract for personal reasons. His final game was Kotoko’s 2-0 home loss to Aduana FC. Tinkler recorded one win, two draws and one defeat in the league, leaving the club ninth on the table. Director of football Stanley Purl Menzo will oversee the technical team as Kotoko prepare to face Karela United. Tinkler has also been linked with the vacant head-coach role at South African side Durban City.
