Why I Recommend Choosing Single Best Men: A Chief Bridesmaid’s Experience

Why I Recommend Choosing Single Best Men: A Chief Bridesmaid’s Experience — 1 of 2
1 / 2

I served as chief bridesmaid in 2023. I thought my role would give me a chance to meet the groom’s best man and maybe find a husband. Imagine my surprise when he turned out to be married. I learned that many couples choose close friends as best men without checking their relationship status. That left me disappointed and still single. My advice to couples is simple: pick single men as best men. This way, chief bridesmaids and ashabi have a real chance to connect. To everyone in my shoes, may God bring your best man soon, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

A quick way to avoid surprises is adding a brief check-in call with each party member about their relationship status.
