Colombia edged the second quarter 26–17, but Nigeria answered back with a commanding 19–5 third quarter and a 17–3 finish in the fourth. Ranked eighth in the world, the D’Tigress have already booked their ticket to the World Cup by winning the 2025 AfroBasket title.
