Onyedika Targets European Football and Trophies at Frankfurt, Inspired by Okocha
Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika says he wants to help Eintracht Frankfurt return to European competition and win trophies after joining the German club from Club Brugge. The 25-year-old signed a five-year deal until June 2031. The transfer could rise to €10 million with add-ons, while Club Brugge retain a five percent sell-on clause. Onyedika said former Frankfurt star Austin “Jay-Jay” Okocha is a major inspiration. He becomes the sixth Nigerian international to represent the club and arrives with two Belgian league titles, a Belgian Cup and a Belgian Super Cup from his time in Belgium.
