Monza Agree €7.5m Deal to Sign Nigeria’s Ebenezer Akinsamiro From Inter Milan

Monza have agreed to sign Nigerian midfielder Ebenezer Akinsamiro from Inter Milan in a permanent deal reportedly worth €7.5 million, with Inter retaining a 10 percent sell-on clause. The deal has no buy-back option, ending Inter’s association with the former Remo Stars player. Akinsamiro had also drawn interest from Bologna, Werder Bremen and Borussia Mönchengladbach. The 21-year-old made one Serie A appearance for Inter after joining from Remo Stars in January 2023. He previously gained experience on loan at Sampdoria and Pisa, and will now aim to become a regular in Serie A with Monza. Akinsamiro was also included in Nigeria’s Super Eagles squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

€7.5 million sounds encouraging, but the absence of a buy-back means Inter are making a clean choice.

The priority now should be settling quickly at Monza and turning this opportunity into consistent performances.
