UNICEF Hands Over Renovated Diso PHC to Kano Government

UNICEF has handed over the renovated Diso Primary Health Care facility in Gwale Local Government Area to the Kano State Primary Healthcare Management Board. The renovation was funded by the Global Fund as part of a programme covering five primary health care facilities across Kano State. Community members, religious leaders and Gwale council representatives attended the handover. UNICEF said the upgraded facility will provide essential services for women, children, adolescents and other residents. It urged the government and community to ensure proper maintenance, skilled staffing, reliable medicines and vaccines, and continued monitoring of service quality.
