UNIPORT Vice-Chancellor Prof. Georgewill Celebrates Eid al-Fitr with Muslim Community
Assalamu Alaikum. As the holy month of Ramadan draws to a close, homes and communities across Nigeria and the University of Port Harcourt are filled with joy, gratitude, and reflection. Eid al-Fitr reminds us that Ramadan is about more than fasting. It calls us to grow in compassion, patience, and dedication to the welfare of others, while reinforcing the bonds of community and national solidarity. On behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff, Students, and all stakeholders of the University of Port Harcourt, we extend warm felicitations to our Muslim community and the global Muslim family as you celebrate Eid al-Fitr 2026. May this celebration bring renewed faith, peace, and abundant blessings to you and your loved ones. Blessed Eid al-Fitr!
