Open Heavens Devotional, October 3, 2026: Do Not Harden Your Heart

This devotional reflects on the danger of resisting God’s correction. Drawing from Proverbs 28:14, Psalm 95 and Acts 2, it encourages believers to remain humble, receptive and willing to obey God’s word. God’s word is presented as powerful and transformative. Rather than taking offence when it exposes wrongdoing, believers are urged to respond with repentance and allow it to shape their lives. The prayer focus is for a teachable heart that accepts correction, rejects selective obedience and remains sensitive to God’s leading.
