AMVCA-Nominated Documentary Brings Infertility Awareness to UNILAG

An AMVCA-nominated documentary, Not Addressing This Anymore (NATA), has brought renewed attention to infertility and the stigma faced by Nigerians living with fertility challenges. The film was screened at the University of Lagos, where students, lecturers, health professionals and policymakers discussed common misconceptions about infertility. Speakers stressed that infertility is a shared medical issue, as male-factor infertility also contributes significantly to difficulties conceiving. A fertility counsellor led a question-and-answer session on reproductive health and the emotional impact of infertility. The documentary is expected to tour more Nigerian universities, including institutions in Abeokuta and Abuja, as its producers develop a feature-length version.
