James: Put Your Faith Into Action
James urges believers to be doers of God’s Word, not hearers only. His letter, with 108 verses, shows how faith can be put into practice in everyday life. James became a believer after the resurrection and later became a leader in the Jerusalem church. Paul described him as a pillar of the church. Christian tradition also remembers his devotion to prayer, which earned him the nickname “camel knees.” Though written nearly 2,000 years ago, James’s message remains relevant: our actions should reflect what we profess to believe. As we walk with the Holy Spirit, we should put our faith into practice.
