In Judges 20:1-2 the tribes of Israel unite at Mizpah to confront sin in their camp. Despite repeated disobedience, God still hears their cries and calls them to accountability. The shocking crime in Gibeah prompted the leaders to test the accusations and, finding them true, to act decisively to protect the nation from further corruption. This painful yet necessary step reflects the principles laid out in Deuteronomy 13:12-18. Let us pray for humility and courage to confront sin in our society. May our leaders seek God’s wisdom and our citizens walk in His ways so that our nation may experience true revival.
