TikTok Banker Says She Was Asked to Resign Over Videos Filmed at Work
A Nigerian TikTok creator who worked as a banker says she was asked to resign after posting videos filmed around her workplace. She said she had created content since 2018 and was previously disciplined in 2022 over a video about her salary increment. The latest issue reportedly followed a vlog that showed parts of her workday and areas within the bank. According to her account, she was queried, appeared before a disciplinary committee and later stopped filming at the office. She said her supervisor informed her after work last Thursday that she should resign immediately. She says she has submitted her resignation and is now seeking another job, while continuing her content creation.
