Chelle Eyes Victory as Super Eagles Gear Up to Face Poland
Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle says he is ready for a win when Nigeria faces Poland in an international friendly at Warsaw’s Stadion PGE Narodowy. It will be only the second senior meeting between the two sides, the first ending in a 1-0 victory for Nigeria in 2018. Chelle’s men are unbeaten in their last five matches, including their run to the AFCON semi-final in 2025. The 48-year-old insists his squad has the right mentality to secure another triumph on foreign soil. “We have a team and we are preparing to go out there and win,” Chelle said. “Winning is the mentality that we are trying to create in the players. We will go for a win on Wednesday.”
