ADC’s Leadership Crisis: A Tale of Division and Lost Opportunities
The Amputated Democratic Congress (ADC) suffers from consistent internal turmoil. Each prominent figure seems to introduce a destructive influence rather than unity. The so-called “Dubai landlord” left the PDP fragmented when he failed to capitalise on a rare moment of cohesion. Gringory Tokunbo-fraud Obi disrupted a once united Workers’ Party, scattering its grassroots support. RM Kwankwaso’s tenure at NNPP ended in costly legal battles that drained the party of confidence. El-Rufai brought hate and arrogance to the SDP before jumping to ADC with unfulfilled ambitions. David Mark remains aloof in his military mindset, while Aregbe’s betrayal makes him a liability. With such divisive personalities at the helm, ADC’s chance of success is all but lost. Any leadership driven by these men is likely to falter before it even begins.
