DNKI Urges Action on Rising Violence, Economic Hardship and Political Exclusion
The De Norsemen Kclub International has called on the Federal Government to tackle Nigeria’s growing security, economic and political challenges. The group expressed deep concern over recent developments nationwide. DNKI condemned the wave of violent killings in Jos as callous and unacceptable. It extended condolences to the victims’ families and urged swift accountability alongside a full review of the security architecture. The club highlighted the high cost of political participation, noting that steep nomination fees shut out ordinary Nigerians. It demanded urgent electoral reforms to make democracy affordable, transparent and fair. On the economic front, DNKI decried unreliable power supply, which is crippling small businesses and hiking healthcare costs. It called for sustained reforms in energy generation and distribution, and signed off with a plea for people-centred policies to restore public trust. Signed by International President Chief Oliver Patrick.
