Justin Theroux is an American actor, screenwriter, director and producer born on August 10, 1971, in Washington, D.C. He is known for roles in Mulholland Drive, American Psycho, Zoolander, The Leftovers and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. He has also co-written major films including Tropic Thunder, Iron Man 2 and Rock of Ages. His directing debut was the 2007 romantic comedy Dedication. Theroux was married to Jennifer Aniston from 2015 until their separation in 2017. He later married actress Nicole Brydon Bloom in 2025. He remains active in film and television.
