Tusker FC Secures Nigerian Striker Victor Mbaoma on One-Year Deal
Kenyan Premier League side Tusker FC have completed the signing of Nigerian forward Victor Mbaoma on a one-year contract ahead of the 2026/27 season. The 29-year-old arrives from Remo Stars, the former Nigeria Premier Football League champions, after notching 14 goals and four assists last season. He returns to East Africa following a prolific spell with Rwandan giants APR, where he finished as league top scorer and helped claim domestic honours. Mbaoma said he was attracted by Tusker’s history of success and their ambitions in continental competitions. Head coach Julien Mette praised his experience and goal-scoring record, describing him as the perfect first signing to spearhead the team’s title challenge.
