Nigerian Winger Ridwan Sanusi Joins AS Trenčín on Season-Long Loan
Nigerian winger Ridwan Sanusi has joined Slovakian club AS Trenčín on a season-long loan from MŠK Žilina. The deal includes an option for Trenčín to make the move permanent. The 23-year-old spent last season on loan at Podbrezová, where he recorded three assists in 25 league appearances as the club finished sixth in the Slovak Niké Liga. Sanusi began his professional career in Slovakia with ŠKF Sereď in 2021 and also had loan spells at Trebišov and Pohronie. He scored 10 goals in 45 league matches across two seasons with Podbrezová before joining Žilina last summer.
