The ceremony took place at the club camp on Oda Road, Akure, under the chairmanship of the Ondo State Football Agency. Key figures at the event included an NFF board member, the Ondo State FA chairman, and other state football officials. The agency chairman urged Udi to stay focused on the upcoming NNL campaign and pledged full support for the technical team and players. Udi thanked club management and the agency for their confidence and vowed to help Sunshine Stars return to the Nigeria Premier Football League.
