He co-founded the arts nonprofit Young Storytellers and serves on its advisory board. He began writing for TV shows like Mutant X and Nip/Tuck before partnering with Ryan Murphy on Glee. Their early success led to a two-year, seven-figure deal with 20th Century Fox Television and more high-profile projects. His net worth is estimated at $30 million. He stands 1.83 m tall, weighs 79 kg and has two children from his first marriage. He married actress Gwyneth Paltrow in 2018.
