FIFA has released the match schedule for the 2027 Women’s World Cup in Brazil. The 32-team tournament will feature 64 matches across eight host cities. Brazil will open the competition against an opponent yet to be determined on June 24 at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro. The final, scheduled for July 25, will also be played at the Maracanã. Brasília, Porto Alegre, Recife and Salvador will host matches up to the Round of 16. Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Fortaleza will stage the quarter-finals, while São Paulo will host a semi-final and the third-place match. FIFA says the schedule considered travel distances, recovery time and fan access. A final updated fixture list will follow the tournament draw later this year.
