Ogunbote: Plateau United Still a Work in Progress After Kwara United Win

Plateau United coach Gbenga Ogunbote says his side is still developing despite a 1-0 win over Kwara United in their NPFL Matchday 2 clash at the New Jos Stadium. Alex Aghaowa scored the decisive goal in the 29th minute with a header, helping Plateau United recover from their opening-day 2-0 defeat to Rivers United. Kwara United pressed for an equaliser after the break, but the hosts held on for all three points. Ogunbote said the team needs time to build understanding after bringing in about seven new players. He thanked the Jos supporters and urged them to keep believing in the squad.
