Tobi Amusan Seals Spot in 2026 Diamond League Final After Consistent Season

Nigerian hurdler Tobi Amusan has qualified for the 2026 Wanda Diamond League Final after accruing 28 points from five women’s 100m hurdles meetings this season. She sits second in the standings behind American Masai Russell, who leads with 32 points. Both athletes will compete in the remaining Diamond League stops in London, Lausanne, Silesia and Zurich before the finale in Brussels. Amusan has recorded a season’s best of 12.28 seconds on three occasions. She now heads to Brussels aiming to claim her fourth Diamond League title, while Russell comes in with the world’s fastest time this year at 12.14 seconds.
