Tottenham and Igor Tudor Part Ways After Just Seven Matches

Tottenham and Igor Tudor Part Ways After Just Seven Matches

Igor Tudor has stepped down as interim head coach of Tottenham Hotspur after just 44 days in charge. The club confirmed a mutual agreement to part ways following five defeats in seven games. The final blow was a 3-0 loss to Nottingham Forest that left Spurs hovering above the relegation zone with seven matches to go. Tudor’s backroom team, including goalkeeping coach Tomislav Rogic and fitness coach Riccardo Ragnacci, also departed. Assistant Bruno Saltor will oversee training while Tottenham seek a new head coach. Appointed on 14 February, Tudor lost his first four games and secured only one point before a brief Champions League run fell short. Spurs resume Premier League action against Sunderland after the international break.

Do you think Tottenham hurrying through head coach changes is hurting their season momentum after Tudor's short stint?

True, frequent coaching changes likely disrupt team rhythm and strategy development, costing momentum they urgently need this season.

Not convinced coach shuffling alone explains their slump; injuries and tough schedule probably play bigger roles.

It seems odd they reached mutual agreement so quickly, especially after just seven matches and a handful of defeats.

Maybe someone else would have struggled just as much stepping in midseason with no preparation time.

A more stable process might be to give the next coach at least ten games before considering changes.
