My Vision of How the Stone at Jesus’ Tomb Was Rolled Away
While studying the Bible on 25 July 2026, I had a brief vision of the resurrection morning. I saw an angel descend in dazzling light and stand before the stone sealing Jesus’ tomb. The angel declared, “Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come forth.” In the vision, a voice asked, “Who is this King of glory?” The angel answered, “The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle, the Lord of hosts.” As the declaration was repeated, there was a great earthquake. The seal around the tomb broke, and the angel rolled away the stone. I compared this experience with Matthew 28:1–3 and Psalm 24:7–10. Matthew records the earthquake, the angel’s descent and the stone being rolled away, while Psalm 24 contains the words that came to my mind in the vision. I believe the vision offered me a glimpse of Christ’s victory over death and His power to lead captivity captive. Every dream or vision should be tested against Scripture. If it does not agree with God’s word, it should not be accepted as truth. Jesus is Lord.
