Nigerian Woman Celebrates 11 Years of Marriage After Building From Scratch With Her Husband
A Nigerian mother of three has reflected on her 11-year marriage, saying she chose her husband for love, his values and the future she believed they could build together. She recalled difficult early years when they struggled with rent, school fees, transport and food. At times, they trekked, bought cheaper leftovers at the market and worked out how to survive on very little. Now, she says they are living in some of the prayers they once made during those hard times. She credited their progress to faith, friendship, determination and their commitment to keep building together.
