The Cost of Being in the Wrong Place
Scriptural Reflection – Meditation of the Day Felix Davies celebrated his promotion with friends and drove home late. Only 400m from his house, robbers attacked and stole his belongings. What was meant to be a joyful night ended in sorrow. Similarly, King David stayed in Jerusalem instead of leading his men to war. From his rooftop, he saw Bathsheba and gave in to temptation. This wrong positioning led to adultery, murder and God’s judgment. Our choices often place us where danger lurks. Being in the right place at the right time invites God’s protection. Avoid careless decisions that lead to regret. Prayer: Father, thank You for guarding my steps. Guide me to be in places that bring blessing, not harm.
