Chelsea are reportedly considering a late move for Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez after his representatives offered him to the club. The Argentina international could be available after Villa signed Zion Suzuki from Parma. Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sánchez also faced criticism following an error in the win over Fulham. Martínez, a World Cup and Copa América winner with Argentina, previously played for Arsenal before joining Aston Villa in 2020. Juventus had also shown interest, but opted to sign Guglielmo Vicario instead.
