What It Truly Means to Give Your Life to Christ

Giving your life to Christ is more than deciding to live differently or starting to read the Bible. It means receiving the salvation Jesus accomplished through His death, burial and resurrection, and acknowledging Him as Lord of your life. The story of Noah’s ark offers a picture of this truth. Safety was found by entering the ark; likewise, Christ is God’s provision for salvation. Those who come to Him enter a life of righteousness, peace, protection and eternal life. Salvation is not about struggling to earn God’s acceptance or merely adopting a religion. In Christ, believers become new creations and are established in God’s grace. “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
