May 27 Devotional: Powerful Prayers for Children
Today’s theme is Prayers for Children. Our memory verse is 1 Samuel 2:26: “And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men.” We also meditate on Psalms 125:3-5, trusting God’s protection for the upright. We thank God for the gift of children everywhere. We ask Him to grant them unforgettable encounters with His presence, to grow in wisdom and favour, and to walk in righteousness all their days. We pray they are shielded from evil, ungodly influences, and harmful desires. We lift them up for good health, godly friendships, and a steadfast heart of obedience. May doors of blessing open for their families and may they be positioned in God’s purpose from an early age. Add your own personal prayer points as you intercede for young lives around the world.
