Sanwo-Olu Reaffirms Lagos as Nigeria’s Safest State with Stronger Police Collaboration

The governor of Lagos State has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to maintaining the state as Nigeria’s safest. He pledged deeper collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force and other agencies to strengthen security across the south west. Speaking at Lagos House, Ikeja, during a courtesy visit by the Deputy Inspector General of Police for ICT and the South-West region, the governor said no expense will be spared on logistics and operations. He praised officers of the state command for their professionalism and promised ongoing support for joint security efforts. The visiting DIG highlighted the need for advanced technology, intelligence gathering, and community partnership to tackle crime. He welcomed the state government’s financial backing and noted that findings from the visit will be presented to the Inspector General of Police to boost regional security.
