Nice Confirm Plans To Sell Terem Moffi This Summer

Nice Confirm Plans To Sell Terem Moffi This Summer

Nice sporting director Roger Ricort says Nigeria international Terem Moffi will leave the French club on a permanent deal before the end of the summer window. Moffi spent the second half of last season on loan at Porto after falling out of favour at Nice. The Portuguese champions declined their €8 million purchase option, so he returned to pre-season training in Nice. Ricort revealed that Moffi is on the list of players the club intends to move on. He added that Nice will treat the striker professionally until a transfer is finalised and then wish him well at his next destination. This update ends months of uncertainty over Moffi’s future following an incident with fans last November. The 27-year-old forward now looks set to seek a new club before the transfer deadline.

Which club offers the best fit for Moffi after Nice confirms he'll be sold this summer?

Definitely, he needs a side playing high-tempo, attacking football where he can start regularly and continue developing.

Moffi's brief spell at Porto didn't yield many goals, so his market value might be softer than what Nice expects.

I'm not sure selling him permanently is smart when he still shows potential to thrive back in Ligue 1.

Negotiating a sell-on clause could help Nice benefit if Moffi regains form elsewhere, especially after that loan spell.
