25-Year-Old Nigerian Arrested for Sneaking onto United Flight with Fake Boarding Pass
On June 5, Abdulrahman Oriyomi, 25, was arrested at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport. He faces a felony charge for interfering with critical infrastructure after allegedly boarding a United Airlines flight to Los Angeles using a counterfeit pass. Court records reveal he stalled and distracted TSA agents at Terminal C before slipping through security and attempting to scan a fake boarding pass at gate E16 while staff were occupied. Once aboard flight 469, he hid in a rear lavatory after discovering his reservation was canceled. Passengers and crew eventually exposed his false identity, leading to an evacuation, aircraft search, and his formal arrest.
