Niger State Governor Replaces Fulani Ardos with Nupe Chiefs to Boost Security

The governor cited rising conflicts, destruction of farmlands and allegations that some Fulani leaders invited armed groups from outside. Roles such as Hakimi have been re-designated to strengthen indigenous authority and improve security across the state.
