Kidnappers Demand ₦200m Ransom for Abducted Kebbi Judge

Kidnappers who abducted Kebbi State High Court judge Justice Faruku Hassan Bunza have reportedly demanded ₦200 million for his release. Kebbi Commissioner of Police Umar Muhammad Hadejia said the judge was taken from his home on Zogirma Road in Bunza Local Government Area in the early hours of Sunday. The abductors later contacted his family and reportedly reached out to a High Court registrar in Abuja during ransom negotiations. Police said a joint security team has been deployed to search forests and suspected escape routes as efforts continue to rescue the judge safely.
