Dr. Chris Okafor, senior pastor of Grace Nation Global, has announced the death of his father, Pa Steven Okafor. He shared the news during a thanksgiving service held after the Grace Nation Global Women of Wonders 2026 Convention in Lagos. According to him, his father died on Thursday, August 27, 2026. Okafor appealed to members of the church and supporters worldwide to remember his family in their prayers. Burial arrangements are expected to be announced later.
