This move could unite the South East, South South and South West behind you and turn today's critics into grateful supporters. With the 2027 election looming, many more Yoruba could be targeted. A timely referendum might avert a bloodbath and spare a generation from violence. Remember how Plateau State suffered under Gowon’s rule—don’t let history repeat itself.
