Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka says specialists in the United States told him that his eyes showed severe damage and should not be functioning normally. He said the tests were prompted by years of stress and sleeplessness. According to Mbaka, the doctors were surprised when he read from a Bible and moved around without assistance. He described his continued ability to see as a miracle, while saying the findings were reviewed by medical specialists. The Catholic priest also urged his followers not to reject professional medical care. He said faith and orthodox healthcare should work together.
