Faith Beyond a Medical Diagnosis

A medical diagnosis may describe what is happening in the body, but I believe it does not have the final word over a person’s life. Scripture teaches that faith looks beyond present circumstances and holds on to God’s promises. Using Abraham’s story, I reflect on the difference between visible facts and the hope God gives. Abraham faced physical limitations, yet he continued to believe God’s promise and speak in faith. I encourage anyone facing illness or a difficult report to seek proper medical care while also praying, trusting God and drawing strength from His word. For those who wish to begin a relationship with Jesus, the message is to believe in Him, turn from sin and confess Him as Lord.
