Tayo Faniran Says Talent Alone Does Not Determine Success in Nollywood

Actor Tayo Faniran has criticised what he describes as a lack of merit-based opportunities in Nollywood. In an interview with TVC eSplash, Faniran said some of the industry’s most prominent producers are not necessarily the most talented. He added that he believes he would have achieved more if opportunities were based strictly on talent, alleging that the industry is affected by favouritism and unfair practices.
