Insecurity: Tension As Another UNN Student Goes Missing

A student of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), identified as Mr. George A. Nnaji, has gone missing without a trace. This occurred on the same day a female student on campus was reportedly kidnapped, with a ransom demanded for her release, increasing tension on campus. Mr. George, a 300-level student in the Department of Combined Arts, has been missing since Sunday morning, 14th July 2024, after allegedly going to work and not returning. Reacting to this incident, his course representative, Miss Ruth Oluchi, said that she reached out to him on Monday evening, a day after he went missing, through a phone call. She noted that he initially answered the call and told her that he was fine and was only at his family house. However, she added that when she dialed the number again, it was no longer him but another voice who claimed to know nothing about George, leaving her in a state of confusion and panic.
