Ghana beat Cape Verde 2-0 after Doris Boaduwaa scored early and an own goal doubled the advantage. Cape Verde also had Klaydiana Borges sent off late in the match. Cameroon edged Mali 2-1, with Ngah Manga scoring twice. Mali equalised through Aissata Traore’s penalty before Manga converted a second-half spot kick following a VAR review. Cameroon face Ghana next in a key Group D clash, while Nigeria will be under pressure to recover from their opening loss.
